Emulation modes are presets that contain previously programmed sets of messages and designed to work with different digital audio workstations (DAWs).

These modes can be accessed by holding down the respective button on the top row of the BCF2000 while powering on. The available emulation modes for the BCF2000 are:

  1. B-Control Mode
  2. Mackie Control - Cubase & Nuendo
  3. Logic Control
  4. Mackie Control - SONAR
  5. BabyHUI - Pro Tools

Different DAWs (Digital Audio Workstations) usualy have preset selections for each emulation mode in the software's preferences.

For custom MIDI mapping, B-Control is the ideal emulation mode.  This is the mode utilized for designating your own MIDI message and assigning / creating custom templates with your software or MIDI device.

To view the emulation mode settings, see the attached emulation modes guide document.
