In this article we will show the process of installing and unlocking Native Instruments Combos Software in partnership with Behringer.
- Put the NI Combos CD included in the box of the UCG102 into your computer and inspect the folder using explorer if the Auto Run feature doesn't start. Then go into the 'NI Guitar Combos' folder as the image shows below.
-In that folder you will see 3 zip files named as below in the image. Copy these into a folder on your hardrive and extract them. In each folder there will be a setup file. Launch one of them by double clicking or right click then 'run as administrator'.
-The following message will appear in most cases, just choose the option 'Yes'.
-The installation will then start, follow the procedure by clicking 'Next' and then 'I accept' after reading through the license agreement.
-You can install a VST, DXi or RTAS plugin of the software for use in the relevant DAW. A standalone version can also be installed.
-Choose the location on your hardrive to which you want the program files to be installed.
-After the installer completes click the 'Finish' to finalize installation.
-Next launch NI Combos by either typing it into the Windows Start Menu and clicking the icon or by loading up the Plugin from your DAW. The following screen will appear. Click the 'Activate' button.
-If the message below appears click 'Yes'.
-The NI Service Center will then launch, log in if you already have an account or create a new account.
-You will see a your Combo package in the 'Activate' window once you log in.
-In the insert of the NI Combos CD wallet you will find your code. Type into the field in NI service center and hit the 'Activate' button.
-After doing that you will see a green confirmation box that your NI Combo is activated. Repeat this process for the remaining Combos. Happy Jamming!
