Why does my iPad state "TV Connected" when playing video and docked in an iS202?

The iS202 offers the user enhanced audio, video and MIDI connectivity. With this, users of the iS202 are offered separate video output for connecting their iStudio to televisions and projectors.

When your iPad is docked in the iS202, and you are using apps such as 'Videos', you may encounter a message stating "TV Connected: The video is playing on the TV", as shown in the following picture:

This indicates that the iS202 is successfully outputting video content via its VIDEO OUT port and this will disable some video applications from displaying video on the integrated iPad display.

When your iS202 is successfully docked, the iPad Settings > General menu will show a new 'TV Out' sub menu, as shown below.

This sub menu allows you to the configure the 'Widescreen' and 'TV Signal' (PAL / NTSC) settings for analogue connection (see below), but it does not enable you to disable the VIDEO OUT port. This means that your iPad will need to remain undocked in order to resume video playback on the integrated iPad display for some applications.
